The Egyptian government remains committed to intensifying its efforts to provide vital humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip in Palestine, which has endured continuous bombardment by the Israeli forces. The unrelenting attacks have led to a significant deterioration in essential supplies, including water, medicines, medical equipment, and food in the region.
Egypt has successfully coordinated its efforts with the Egyptian Red Crescent, the National Alliance for Social and Developmental Work, Hayah Kareema Foundation, and several international organizations, such as the World Health Organization and UNRWA, as well as the contributions of 26 nations.
Together, they have mobilized and delivered a total of 7,094 tons of aid to Gaza.
Egypt's contributions alone account for approximately 5,900 tons of the total aid provided. Over 6,000 tons of vital assistance have been successfully delivered to the Gaza Strip.
This includes 374 trucks carrying 1,496 tons of medicines, 1,393 tons of food, 2,059 tons of water, 320 tons of clothing, and various other materials, along with 32 tons of tents and shelter supplies.
Furthermore, an additional 1,000 trucks are in preparation to enter the Gaza Strip in two separate phases, continuing Egypt's dedicated humanitarian efforts.
Egypt's proactive response in delivering humanitarian aid reflects its strong commitment to supporting the people of Palestine during their time of need. This collaborative initiative aims to alleviate the suffering caused by the conflict in Gaza.
