According to CAPMAS, Egypt’s exports to Azerbaijan recorded $34.7 million in 2023, compared to $2.9 million in 2022.
The Volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Azerbaijan reached $362.8 million during 2023, compared to $3.41 million in 2022, revealed the latest data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
According to CAPMAS, Egypt’s exports to Azerbaijan recorded $34.7 million in 2023, compared to $2.9 million in 2022.
The most important commodities that Egypt exported to Azerbaijan came as follows: Fertilizers worth $6.2 million, Electrical machines worth $5.2 million, clothes worth $2.1 million, Iron and its products worth $726 thousand, and Vegetables worth $695 thousand.
The value of Egypt’s imports from Azerbaijan reached $328.1 thousand in 2023, compared to $507 thousand in 2022.
The most important commodity groups imported by Egypt from Azerbaijan during 2023 were animal products worth $109.2 thousand, Gum worth $165.9 thousand, and seeds and oil fruits worth $50.2 thousand.
Recently, Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, received his Azerbaijani counterpart and the accompanying delegation.
The discussions held between President Sisi and the Azerbaijani President confirm their aspiration to continue working together to strengthen bilateral relations in various fields.
They also discussed coordinating regional and international issues of mutual interest, as well as boosting economic and trade relations by utilizing available opportunities.
