Madbouly added that this is the “golden time” to benefit from the incentives, privileges, and tax exemptions provided by the Egyptian state to empower and advance the industrial sector.
Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly visited the Port Said Governorate on Saturday to inspect a number of industrial projects.
Madbouly stated that the government’s main goal is to empower the private sector in various sectors that deepen local manufacturing and increase the state’s capabilities in exporting.
He added that this is the “golden time” to benefit from the incentives, privileges, and tax exemptions provided by the Egyptian state to empower and advance the industrial sector.
The industrial zone in South Port Said has a number of newly-established factories and old ones, while several projects are carried out there to serve different fields. The projects extend over the fields of urban development, real estate development, youth and sports, education, as well as the field of communications and information technology.
The government currently has a priority of promoting direct foreign investment in Egypt, and looks to boost the export sector’s growth, explained Prime Minister Madbouly earlier this week.
He also toured several companies located at Cairo’s Smart Village Thursday, the PM also emphasized Egypt’s aim to strengthen its outsourcing industry and IT services.
