The Egyptian exports to Saudi Arabia rose to $2.4 billion during the first 9 months of 2024, compared to $1.9 billion during the same period in 2023, marking an increase of 26.3%.

The value of trade exchange between Egypt and Saudi Arabia increased to $7.5 billion during the first 9 months of 2024, compared to $5.6 billion during the same period in 2023, showing a rise of 33.9%, according to the latest data released by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization (CAPMAS).

The Egyptian exports to Saudi Arabia rose to $2.4 billion during the first 9 months of 2024, compared to $1.9 billion during the same period in 2023, marking an increase of 26.3%.

Top commodity groups exported by Egypt to Saudi Arabia during the first 9 months of 2024 included, copper and its products valued at $459 million, vegetables and fruits valued at $293 million, ready-made garments valued at $128 million, electrical appliances valued at $215 million, and Iron and its products valued at $167 million.

 Meanwhile, Egyptian imports from Saudi Arabia reached $5.1 billion in the first 9 months of 2024, up from $3.7 billion in the same period of 2023, reflecting a growth of 37.8%.

Top commodity groups imported by Egypt from Saudi Arabia during the first 9 Months of 2024 included, fuel and mineral oils valued at $3.4 billion, plastics valued at $984 million, and organic chemical products valued at $208 million.

Saudi investments in Egypt amounted to $511.3 million during the first nine months of FY2023/2024, compared to $2.3 billion during the same period of FY2022/2023.

Conversely, Egyptian investments in Saudi Arabia reached $147.1 million in the first nine months of FY2023/2024, down from $190.1 million during the same period of FY2022/2023.
