The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), under ITIDA, in collaboration with Flat6Labs, has launched the Invest IT program to support Egypt's tech startups.
This initiative is designed to prepare startups in the ICT sector for seed funding and early investment stages, enhancing their ability to secure financing and expand their operations.
Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Amr Talaat, emphasized the state’s commitment to fostering a supportive business environment for tech startups and entrepreneurs.
He highlighted that Egypt ranks among the top three countries in the Middle East and Africa for attracting investments in tech startups.
ITIDA’s CEO, Ahmed Elzaher, stated, this program is part of the authority’s efforts to support startups and empower entrepreneurs at every stage from idea conception to growth, development, and expansion into foreign markets.
Hany Al-Sonbaty, founder and chairman of Flat6Labs, added, The Invest IT program aims not only to prepare startups for investment but also to equip them with essential tools and a network of relationships needed to scale their businesses.
