Egypt offer 42 gas exploration opportunities through EUG

The minister emphasized his belief in the state’s ability to achieve its goals related to the optimal exploitation of its natural resources, positioning Egypt as a regional energy hub.

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, recently convened a comprehensive workshop focusing on the investment opportunities available in the field of oil and gas exploration, production, and development. These opportunities are accessible through the Egypt Upstream Gateway (EUG) and include 42 investment opportunities.

The minister emphasized his belief in the state’s ability to achieve its goals related to the optimal exploitation of its natural resources, positioning Egypt as a regional energy hub.

He highlighted the various investment opportunities provided by the petroleum sector and underscored the important role of participants in promoting and capitalizing on these opportunities, as well as encouraging new investments to support the objective of increased production.

During the meeting, Mohamed Radwan, the General Manager of the EUG, presented a detailed overview of the platform. He explained how investors can benefit from the extensive data and opportunities available through the gateway.

Radwan provided an in-depth explanation of the diverse investment opportunities available through the platform, which currently features 61 opportunities for the exploration, development, and production of oil and gas resources.

The opportunities span various regions under the umbrella of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), the Ganoub El-Wadi Petroleum Holding Company (GANOPE), and the General Petroleum Company (GPC).
