Hossam Heiba, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, and Dina Abdel-Fattah, Chairwoman of Exlnt Communications, a subsidiary of the United Media Services Company (UMS), have signed a cooperation protocol aimed at enhancing awareness and marketing for investment opportunities in Egypt.
The signing ceremony was attended by Amr El-Feky, CEO of United Media Services, and Lameya Mokhtar, advisor to the CEO of the Authority.
The protocol outlines a collaboration between the two parties to highlight the authority’s ongoing efforts to improve the business and investment climate in Egypt.
It aims to promote and market these developments both locally and internationally, supporting the global competitiveness of the Egyptian economy, according to an official cabinet statement.
Exlnt Communications will work alongside the authority to devise and implement an awareness and promotional campaign for investment in Egypt, utilizing various media channels and tools.
The agreement aligns with key national economic objectives, such as empowering the private sector as a leader of growth, increasing employment rates, and achieving the authority’s primary goal of “investment for export,” explained the statement.
UMS CEO El-Feky noted that United Media Services will utilize its media assets and affiliated companies to produce content that accurately reflects the positive developments in the Egyptian economy.
The United Media Services portfolio includes 49 companies across various media sectors, including television channels, production companies, newspapers, news websites, social media marketing agencies, and conference organizing firms.
Heiba announced that the authority will regularly provide United Media Services and its subsidiaries with relevant investment information, including new investments and updates on laws, regulations, and policies affecting the investment landscape in Egypt.
He underscored that this partnership will foster an open investment culture among citizens and convey an accurate vision of Egypt’s investment environment to the world, highlighting the cultural components that support investment, given that Egyptian civilization has a long history of investment and manufacturing.
Exlnt Communications joined the UMS group in 2020.
