President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan witnessed the signing of a number of memorandums of understanding (MoUs) in various areas of cooperation.

Among these agreements is a MoU regarding the industrial zone in the city of Sixth of October.

Another significant MoU is the agreement between the Egyptian Consumer Protection Agency and its Turkish counterpart in the field of competition policy.

Furthermore, a MoU has been established to promote collaboration in higher education between Egypt and Turkey.

In the transportation sector, an MoU focusing on improving cooperation between Egyptian and Turkish railways has been signed.

This came during El-Sisi’s visit to Turkey, which is the first by an Egyptian chief of state in 12 years and in reciprocation of that held by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in February.

Moreover, agreements have been reached in various other crucial areas, including MoU between the Egyptian and Turkish Civil Aviation Authorities.

Egypt and Turkey also signed MoU regarding Information Technology, Telecommunications, and Infrastructure.

They signed MoU for Economic, Technical, and Agricultural Cooperation between.

This includes Cooperation in Health and Medical Sciences between Egypt and Turkey.

Additionally, a MoU has been signed between the Egyptian Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority and its counterpart in Turkey.

The Egyptian Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and the Turkish Ministry of Culture signed a MoU for Cooperation and Capacity Building .

The Egyptian and Turkish Ministries of Finance signed a MoU for Cooperation in Financial and Economic Fields.

The Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Energy and the Turkish Ministry of Natural Resources signed MoU in the Energy Sector.

The Egyptian Ministry of Labor and the Turkish Ministry of Labor and Employment signed a MoU in Labor and Employment .

The Egyptian Ministry of Environment and the Turkish Ministry of Environment signed a M oU in Environmental Protection between.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration and the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed MoU, in addition to a MoU in Urban Development between Egypt and Turkey.

During the visit, Erdogan expressed his eagerness to increase investments in Egypt to $15 billion in the coming 5 years
