Vodafone Egypt has been lauded in a recent report published by the global research firm KLAS for its substantial contributions to supporting the Egyptian healthcare sector's integration of digital technologies, enhancing operational efficiencies, and improving patient care across Egyptian university hospitals.

The report was based on surveys conducted with five healthcare leaders and physicians at Ain Shams University.

“We are always dedicated to supporting the digital transformation journey of the Egyptian healthcare sector, especially university hospitals serving ten million patients annually,” said Mahmoud El-Khateeb, Vodafone Business Director.

“By collaborating with Delta Electronic Systems, Vodafone has successfully implemented digital solutions in over 14 university hospitals. These solutions have resulted in faster and more efficient service delivery, reduced medical report preparation times, and improved clinical diagnosis accuracy through real-time access to patient data,” El-Khateeb noted.

He also added that “the findings of the KLAS report underscore our unwavering commitment to digitizing medical records and streamlining healthcare workflows to serve the largest possible number of Egyptian hospitals.”

This aligns with Vodafone Business' broader mission to drive digital transformation in hospitals and provide robust systems, strategic partnerships, and expert consulting services to set performance benchmarks that enhance the quality of healthcare services provided.

Additionally, Vodafone Business Academy for Healthcare further supports this digital transformation by offering specialized training and workshops focused on enhancing communication between technology and medical practice while providing advanced digital solutions.

Everton Santos, Vice President of International at KLAS Research, remarked "Our reports on modern technologies that can enhance global healthcare delivery have confirmed Vodafone Egypt’s leading role in offering comprehensive services to assist healthcare institutions in committing to digital transformation. These services are implemented through partnerships with university hospitals in Egypt.”

“Vodafone Egypt's offerings aim to alleviate the transition burden on providers by liaising with vendor partners and facilitating EHR training and support. Their innovative services have notably improved accuracy and operational efficiency for their clients,” he added.
