Canadian PM Trudeau applauds Egypt's role in facilitating aid to Gaza

Trudeau extended his gratitude to President El-Sisi for his support in securing the departure of foreign nationals from Gaza.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, through the official website of the Canadian Prime Minister's Office and his account on the "X" platform, expressed his appreciation for President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's leadership in ensuring the flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

"On the phone today, President @AlsisiOfficial and I discussed the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. I spoke about the need for humanitarian pauses, so aid can be delivered, and I reiterated that the price of justice cannot be the continued suffering of all Palestinian civilians," Trudeau tweeted.

Trudeau also extended his gratitude to President El-Sisi for his support in securing the departure of foreign nationals from Gaza, including Canadians and their families in the coming days.

"I also thanked President @AlsisiOfficial for his support in securing the departure of foreign nationals from Gaza, including Canadians in the days to come. To read more about what we discussed," he also tweeted.

The Canadian Prime Minister emphasized that the price of justice cannot be the continued suffering of Palestinian civilians, particularly innocent women and children.
