Egypt's Minister of Health monitors healthcare services for Palestinians in North Sinai

The visit aims to ensure the quality of healthcare services for patients and verify the availability of an ample supply of medicines.

In line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to provide healthcare and medical assistance to our Palestinian brothers arriving from the Gaza Strip, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, the Minister of Health and Population, visited the city of Al-Arish in North Sinai on Saturday morning to oversee the medical services provided to Palestinian guests.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, revealed that the minister is scheduled to inspect several hospitals in the city of Al-Arish and its adjacent areas.

The visit aims to ensure the quality of healthcare services for patients and verify the availability of an ample supply of medicines, medical equipment, blood types, as well as examine ambulance points and mobile clinics located in the vicinity of Al-Arish.

Accompanying the minister during this inspection tour are Dr. Amr Qandeel, the Assistant Minister of Health and Population for Preventive Medicine Affairs; Dr. Mohamed El Tayeb, the Assistant Minister of Health and Population for Governance and Technical Affairs; Dr. Amr Rashid, the President of the Egyptian Ambulance Authority; Dr. Ahmed Saafan, the Head of the Curative Medicine Sector; and Dr. Mohamed El Nadi, the Head of the Central Administration for Curative Medicine.
