The Petroleum Pricing Committee (MPC) decided early Friday to raise the prices of all types of gasoline by approximately 70 to 125 piasters. Meanwhile, the price of diesel remains stable.

Minister of Petroleum, Tarek El Molla, issued the directive for the new pricing to take effect from Friday morning.

The new gasoline prices post-increase are as follows:

The Minister of Petroleum adjusted the price per liter of 80-octane gasoline to EGP 10, up from EGP 8.75.

The price per liter of 92-octane gasoline increased to EGP 11.50, up from EGP 10.25.

The price per liter of 95-octane gasoline climbed to EGP 12.5, up from EGP 11.5.
