This remark was made during the Prime Minister's participation in the inaugural session of the third installment of the "Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation" convened in Beijing.

According to Mostafa Madbouly, Egypt offers an appealing investment climate, supported by its infrastructure and strategically advantageous geographical location. This contributes to the interconnection of global markets, enables the seamless flow of supply chains unimpeded, and promotes the idea of interconnectedness within an open global economy.

Madbouly further highlighted that Egypt's inclusion in the BRICS group of nations was a part of its commitment to enhancing coordination among developing countries and emerging economies while actively contributing to the formation of international economic policies.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the Belt and Road Initiative represents a significant step forward, fostering connectivity among the diverse countries involved in the initiative. This ultimately benefits the populations of both nations as well as global populations, while fostering collaborative efforts to realize development and progress for all.

The Belt and Road Initiative was initiated by the Chinese government to bolster trade, investments, and infrastructure across more than 150 countries spanning Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. The initiative revitalizes the historical concept of the ancient trade route known as the "Silk Road."
