Egypt's Trade Development Authority, under the leadership of Dr. Ibrahim Ashmawy, has unveiled plans for 21 logistics projects across 17 governorates, signaling a significant milestone in Egypt's economic landscape.

The cornerstone of this initiative was laid in Suez, marking the establishment of Egypt's first strategic warehouse for essential supplies and duty-free goods.

Ashmawy emphasized the government's partnership with the private sector, showcasing the state's commitment to fostering investment opportunities and driving commerce beyond wholesale markets and commercial centers.

Today, another cornerstone was laid in Kafr El-Sheikh for a logistic trade zone, contributing to the 500-acre network of trade development projects, attracting billions in investments and generating up to 250,000 job opportunities.

In recent years, Egypt has taken significant strides towards bolstering its domestic trade system, recognizing the importance of a robust logistics infrastructure and trade facilitation measures.

The government, in collaboration with the private sector, has embarked on an ambitious plan to develop and enhance trade-related projects across the country.
