On a monthly basis, remittances from Egyptians abroad increased by 26.6% compared to April 2024, when they recorded about $2.2 billion.
Furthermore, Remittances from Egyptians abroad also increased by 2.6% compared to the preceding month, March 2024, during which they recorded about $2.1 billion.
Remittances from Egyptian expatriates amounted to $15.6 billion during the second half of 2021.
