The CEO of MSMEDA, Bassel Rahmy, announced that during his meeting with Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, to follow up on the agency's efforts during the period from January to October 2023
He added the packages cost EGP 1.8 billion for about 37,000 projects that provided about 100,000 job opportunities during 9 years
Rahmy explained that MSMEDA invested EGP 805 million into Damietta Governorate from 2014 to 2023
Rahmy added that financing up to EGP 220 thousand per project according to its financing need,
The program is funded by the European Union (EU) with a grant delegated to the French Development Agency (AFD). The contract aims to develop and revitalize the Mit Okba and Ard El Lewa areas in Giza.
