The National Electoral Authority, led by Chairman Hazem Badawy, officially declared President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's victory in the presidential elections on Monday, marking the commencement of a new presidential term.

Having received the election results from all governorates following the completion of the vote counting process, the National Electoral Authority opened the door for appeals against the decisions of the general committees last Thursday. Notably, there were no appeals lodged by any of the candidates concerning the results of the general committees.

The executive body of the National Electoral Authority reviewed the results of the internal voting process, incorporated the external voting results, and presented them collectively to the board of the National Authority. The final results of the presidential elections were subsequently approved.
