The source, speaking exclusively to "Cairo News," commended the significant contributions of Qatar and the United States in reaching the ceasefire agreement between Israeli forces and Hamas.
The official source emphasized Egypt's commitment to monitoring the implementation of the humanitarian ceasefire, including the exchange of prisoners and detainees. The timing of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, set to last for four days with the possibility of extension, is expected to be announced within 24 hours.
