Ahmed El-Taheri, the Head of the News Channels Division at the United Media Services, announced the martyrdom of a cameraman from Cairo News Channel covering the events in Gaza. The incident occurred in the vicinity of Shifa Hospital.

Taking to Facebook, El-Taheri wrote, "Yesterday, we lost transmission in the vicinity of Shifa Hospital in Gaza, and contact with our team was lost. I have just learned about the martyrdom of the cameraman and the injury of another colleague. There is no power or strength except in God."

El-Taheri appeared as a guest on "Sahebat Al-Sa'adah," a program hosted by star Essaad Younis, where he discussed the ongoing development process at Extra News channel.

He mentioned, "Cairo News" is moving forward, and simultaneously, there are ongoing developments at "Extra News." New studios are being set up for Extra News, and the Cairo News and Extra News audiences will find commonalities and differences between the two.

The journalist emphasized the importance of respecting the audience's intellect when it comes to news channels, stating, "News channel viewers are intelligent, and you have to respect their intelligence a lot. They need a lot of details, and the more you meet their needs and respect their intellect, the more they will respect you."
