Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, speaking at the extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh, reiterated Egypt's condemnation of the targeting, killing, and terrorizing of civilians on both the Palestinian and Israeli sides. He emphasized Egypt's unwavering stance against actions contrary to international law and humanitarian law. President Sisi, echoing Egypt's initial condemnation, renewed a clear denunciation of collective punishment policies in Gaza, including killing, besieging, and forced displacement, deeming them unacceptable and unjustifiable under the guise of self-defense or any other pretext, and calling for an immediate halt.

During his address, President Sisi called upon the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council, to take direct and resolute action without delay. He outlined six key points that demand immediate attention:

1- Immediate and Sustainable Ceasefire: President Sisi urged an unconditional and lasting halt to the firing of weapons in the Gaza Strip.

2- Halt Forced Displacement: He emphasized the necessity to stop all practices aiming at the forced displacement of Palestinians, either within or outside their homeland.

3- International Responsibility for Civilian Security: The international community, particularly the Security Council, was called upon to ensure the safety of innocent Palestinian civilians.

4- Secure and Timely Humanitarian Access: President Sisi urged Israel to uphold its international responsibility as the occupying power, ensuring secure, fast, and sustainable access for humanitarian aid.

5- Conflict Resolution Based on Two-State Solution: He stressed the need to reach a settlement based on a two-state solution, establishing an independent Palestinian state within the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

6- International Investigation into Violations: President Sisi called for an international inquiry into all violations committed against international law.

President Sisi warned against unilateral policies and emphasized that the failure to stop the war in Gaza could lead to an expansion of military confrontations in the region. He highlighted the unprecedented brutality and prolonged nature of the attacks, which could alter the equation and calculations dramatically.
