EGX lands in the green during Monday trading amid Arab selling

Trading on securities saw Egyptian and foreign investors as net buyers with EGP 41.91 million and EGP 59.63 million, respectively. Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 101.55 million

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed trading hours in the green, with benchmark index EGX 30 up by 0.32% during trading to end the session at 27,952.04 points.

EGX 70 increased by 0.43% to 6,278.67 points, followed by EGX 100 rising by 0.16% to 9,060.76 points.

The Shariah index remained relatively unchanged at 2,701.89 points.

Monday trading reported over 670.61 million shares exchanged with a turnover of EGP 2.96 billion.

Market capitalization was recorded at EGP 1.897 trillion.

Trading on securities saw Egyptian and foreign investors as net buyers with EGP 41.91 million and EGP 59.63 million, respectively. Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 101.55 million.

The top gains of the session were by Maridive & oil services which increased by 18.52%, El Ezz Porcelain (Gemma) by 7.77%, and The Egyptian Modern Education Systems by 6.92%.

The largest losses of the session were by Taqa Arabia which fell by 4.58%, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank- Egypt by 4.18%, and Egyptian Gulf Marseilia For Real Estate Investment by 4.01%.
