Egyptian stock market indices opened Tuesday's trading session on a collective rise, with the main market index EGX30 climbing by 0.36% to reach 29,722 points.
The small and medium-sized enterprises index, EGX70, also rose by 0.73% to 6,745 points, while EGX100 increased by 0.6% to 9,642 points.
The market capitalization of stocks listed on the Egyptian Exchange recorded slight gains, reaching 2.002 trillion Egyptian pounds compared to 1.994 trillion pounds at the end of Monday's session.
Egyptian and foreign investors leaned towards selling, with net sales of 12.3 million pounds and 26.5 million pounds, respectively, while Arab investors aimed for purchases, with net purchases amounting to 38.8 million pounds.
Total trading value amounted to about 1 billion pounds, with a volume of 246 million shares executed in 20,000 transactions.
