Today’s trading saw 616.23 million shares exchanged with a turnover of EGP 3.18 billion
The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) fell in the red during Monday’s trading, closing the session with a market capitalization at EGP 1.298 trillion.
Benchmark index EGX 30 tumbled by 1.53% to close trading at 19,278.72 points, followed by EGX 70 dropping by 0.91% to 3,797.15 points and EGX 100 falling 1.05% to 5,584.09 points.
Today’s trading saw 616.23 million shares exchanged with a turnover of EGP 3.18 billion.
Trading on securities saw Egyptian investors as net buyers with EGP 134.73 million. Foreign and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 111.95 million and EGP 22.77 million, respectively.
The top gains of the session were by Macro Group Pharmaceuticals -Macro Capital which climbed by 10.08%, Memphis Pharmaceuticals by 9.55%, and Contact Financial Holding by 6.15%.
The largest losses of the session were by Copper for Commercial Investment & Real Estate Development which declined by 19.91%, GMC Group For Industrial Commercial & Financial Investments by 4.95%, and Marsa Marsa Alam For Tourism Development by 4.79%.
