The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday trading in the green, with benchmark EGX 30 up by 0.14% to close trading at 16,787.71 points, and EGX 50 climbing 0.33% to 3,041.84 points.
EGX 70 surged by 1.87% to end the session at 3,066.05 points, followed by EGX 100 jumping 1.42% to 4609.12 points.
Today’s trading saw 917,24 million shares exchanged with a turnover of EGP 2.174 billion.
Market capitalization reached EGP 1.09 trillion.
Trading on securities saw Egyptian and foreign investors as net sellers with EGP 381.21 million and EGP 66.88 million. Arab investors with net buyers with EGP 448.1 million.
The top gains of the session were by the Egyptian Company for Construction Development which climbed by 16.27%, Arab Real Estate Investment CO.-ALICO by 9.8%, and El Arabia Engineering Industries by 9.39%.
The largest losses of the session were by Egyptian International Pharmaceuticals (EIPICO) which fell by 3.08%, Misr Chemical Industries by 2.99%, and Engineering Industries (ICON) by 2.97%.
