Spanning 60,000 square meters, this venture boasts a $30 million investment to yield over 40,000 tons of calcium hypochlorite annually.

El-Din emphasized the significance of the Chemtics project in fortifying the track record of SCZONE and Chinese investments. This partnership has already attracted over 160 companies, totaling $2 billion in investments and generating approximately 50,000 employment opportunities.
During a recent promotional campaign in China, agreements were inked for six fresh initiatives, commanding investments surpassing $1.067 billion across 1.2 million square meters, He added.
These projects aim to enhance cooperation in energy production, glassworks, bromine, chlor-alkali, and other sectors that complement the Chemtics project, marking a pivotal shift in the production of fine chemical goods.
These strides align with Egypt's industrial localization strategy, with SCZONE envisioning the Chemtics Egypt Chemicals enterprise as the premier hub for calcium hypochlorite production in Egypt and Africa.
