Volume of trade exchange bet. Egypt & Turkey records $3B during H1 of 2024 | CAPMAS

During the H1 of 2024, the volume of Egyptian imports from Turkey reached $1.5 billion, compared to $1.4 billion during the same period in 2023.

The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Turkey reached $3 billion during the first half (H1) of 2024, compared to $3.7 billion during the same period in 2023, according to the latest released by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).

The volume of Egyptian exports to Turkey recorded $1.5 billion during the first half of 2024, compared to $2.3 billion during the same period in 2023.

During the H1 of 2024, the volume of Egyptian imports from Turkey reached $1.5 billion, compared to $1.4 billion during the same period in 2023.

The most important commodity groups that Egypt exported to Turkey during the H1 of 2024 are Plastics worth $235 million, Fertilizers worth $177 million, and Iron and steel worth $143 million.

The most important groups of goods that Egypt imported from Turkey during the H1 of 2024 are electrical and mechanical devices worth $275 million, Iron and steel worth $278 million, and Fuels worth $117 million.

The value of Turkish investments in Egypt recorded $77.8 million during the H1 of FY 2023/2024, compared to $103.2 million during the same period of FY 2022/2023.

The Egyptian investments in Turkey amounted to $33.2 million during the H1 of FY 2023/2024, compared to $28.4 million during the same period of FY 2022/2023.
