El-Sisi holds meeting to follow up on implementation efforts of national industry strategy

El- Sisi is closely monitoring the efforts to implement the national industry strategy and emphasizes the priority of the industrial sector, seeking its urgent advancement.

President AbdelFattah El-Sisi recently convened a meeting to monitor the progress of implementing the National Industry Strategy.

 The meeting covered the presentation of the key points and stages of applying the strategy, which aims to urgently elevate the industrial sector and maximize the optimal utilization of all available industrial capabilities.

The meeting was In the presence of  Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, Kamel El-Wazir,  Minister of Finance, Ahmed Kouchouk, and Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Hassan El-Khatib.

El- Sisi is closely monitoring the efforts to implement the national industry strategy and emphasizes the priority of the industrial sector, seeking its urgent advancement.

He has directed the study of issues facing struggling factories and the exploration of non-conventional solutions to ensure their operation, safeguarding investments and workers’ rights.

President El-Sisi  is briefed on the government’s vision and the ministerial group for industrial development to maximize the optimal utilization of Egypt’s industrial capabilities through full cooperation and partnership with the private sector.

The president underscores the importance of earnestly striving to transform Egypt into a regional and international industrial hub, working diligently to overcome all obstacles and challenges in this regard.

President Sisi emphasizes the priority of localizing promising industries in Egypt, alongside technology transfer and training initiatives.
