Polaris International Industrial Parks Company to inject $120M to implement project in Egypt

Polaris International Industrial Parks Company intends to inject new investments estimated at approximately $120 million in cooperation with the New Urban Communities Authority to implement a project to develop 2.6 million square meters in New October, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Hassan El-Khatib said during his meeting with the company’s delegation.

The company succeeded in implementing investments worth $4.5 billion in Egypt and providing 65,000 job opportunities, El-Khatib added.

The minister pointed out that the meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and the company in organizing a promotional visit to Turkey during the month of September on the sidelines of the Egyptian-Turkish Business Council meeting.

This promotional effort will present investment opportunities and components in Egypt and attract more Turkish investments to the Egyptian market, El-Khatib said.

Chairman of the company, Tunc Ozkan, said that the company was established in Egypt in 2007, and owns an investment portfolio that includes 12 projects on an area of ​​7 million square meters, in the cities of 10th of Ramadan, 6th of October, and Sadat.
