During his visit to 10th of Ramadan City today, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister of Egypt, along with his delegation, visited the Fresh Electric factory for household appliances.

Upon arriving at the factory, the Prime Minister emphasized that any new investments or expansions from the private sector are a strong addition to the Egyptian economy, as these investments provide significant employment opportunities and offer high-quality products that meet the needs of the local market, a stance strongly supported by the government to encourage more investment in the upcoming period.

During the tour, the Prime Minister inspected the latest production lines of Fresh Electric, particularly the automatic washing machines, where he received an explanation from Engineer Ahmed Nagaty, the factory manager, who clarified that the automatic washing machine factory is one of the latest facilities of the group. The company commenced deepening its manufacturing and development in 2023 through new direct investments worth $8 million during 2023 and 2024 in top-loading and front-loading automatic washing machines.

Engineer Ahmed Nagaty pointed out that the company's new investments include a production line for front-loading automatic washing machines, equipment, and production molds for over 3 models (8-9-10 kg) with direct drive motors and energy-saving features. Moreover, expansions include adding a new production line for top-loading automatic washing machines, equipment, and production molds for 5 new models (9-15 kg), along with engineering testing laboratories for design efficiency and quality inspection to ensure product quality and compliance with standards.

The factory manager emphasized that Fresh Electric washing machine factory is the latest in the region, with a production capacity of 600,000 washing machines annually and employing 1,200 workers. There are plans for further expansion by adding new models with higher capacities and establishing a new production line dedicated to the latest models of dishwashers.

It's worth noting that Fresh Electric Appliances Company was founded in 1987, initially manufacturing fans and hoods, and has since expanded to become one of the largest manufacturers of household appliances by 2024. The company manufactures all household appliances, including cookers, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, heaters, air conditioners, fans, water and air coolers, small household appliances, and feeder industries such as motors, packaging materials, and castings, in more than 25 factories employing over 16,000 staff, including engineers, administrators, and technical workers.

The company holds a leading position in the domestic market and exports its products to more than 90 countries in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America.

Prime Minister Madbouly engaged in a friendly dialogue with several workers at the factory, including one with disabilities, to learn about the working conditions, commending the efforts of workers in producing high-quality household appliances and wishing them continued success.

At the end of the visit, the Prime Minister took a commemorative photo with the company's officials and employees.
