Earlier this week, the Egyptian Embassy in Copenhagen organized a roundtable discussion aimed at exploring investment opportunities with Denmark in multiple sectors.

The discussion focused on energy, construction, infrastructure, water, irrigation, information technology, food, and handicrafts.

In collaboration with the Danish-African Business Association, the event witnessed the participation of prominent heads from Danish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) alongside Hossam Heiba, Chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI).

This gathering provided a platform to exchange ideas and insights on potential investment ventures.

Notably, in March 2023, the Suez Canal Authority and Denmark's Maersk cemented a new agreement, focusing on bolstering cooperative efforts in areas such as training, green transformation, the construction of marine tugs, and ship recycling.

This agreement further underscores the commitment to fostering joint initiatives and advancing collaboration between the two nations.
