He stressed the imperative need for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire without conditions and Israel's compliance with international law. Furthermore, Minister Shoukry emphasized the importance of enhancing international coordination to ensure the complete and sustainable delivery of humanitarian and relief aid to meet the urgent needs of the Palestinian people.

Ambassador Abu Zeid added that in the detailed discussions with his Singaporean counterpart, Minister Shoukry highlighted the tragic humanitarian conditions in Gaza. He underlined the global shock resulting from the death toll, which has exceeded 9,700 individuals, including 4,800 children, along with the indiscriminate destruction of infrastructure in the region.

Minister Balakrishnan of Singapore expressed his country's commitment to providing essential humanitarian support to the people of Gaza and continuing collaborative efforts with the Egyptian Red Crescent to bolster the humanitarian and relief aid supplied by Singapore in the coming days.
