Dr. Ghada El-Behnsawy, the Head of the Media Center for the "Haya Karima" (Decent Life) Foundation, has emphasized Egypt's role as a gateway for safety and relief to Palestine through the continued aid provided to the people of Gaza. Dr. El-Behnsawy pointed out that volunteers played a significant role in this endeavor, staging a days-long sit-in at the border crossing until it was opened.

Speaking during a phone interview on the dmc channel, Dr. El-Behnsawy highlighted that over 50 trucks loaded with aid, medicines, and food pass through daily. She noted that Egypt plays a pivotal role as a portal for support and relief, offering a glimmer of hope in these challenging times.

Dr. El-Behnsawy mentioned that the second convoy, consisting of 50 trailers carrying ready-to-eat food and water, has been dispatched from Cairo. There is a coordinated effort between the Egyptian and Palestinian sides to ensure prompt responses to the needs of the people in Gaza. Trucks loaded with these essential supplies, as well as clothing and blankets, are immediately mobilized.

She also emphasized that the "Decent Life" Foundation actively participates with 15 trailers daily, underlining the deep commitment of volunteers to Gaza and the Palestinian cause.
