QNB ALAHLI, Telecom Egypt, Elsewedy Electric, Egypt Kuwait Holding, Ezz Steel, Faisal Islamic Bank, Talaat Mostafa Group, Misr Fertilizers Production Company, and Orascom Construction were the top 10 companies in the list in that order.
Banking and financial services dominated 32% of the list with 16 entries followed by the real estate and construction industry.
Forbes Middle East also published its top listed 100 companies in 2023 report. CIB was the only Egyptian company who made it to the list.
The Commercial International Bank (CIB) came in the 49th spot, 2023 with profits worth $523 million.
GCC countries dominated 91% of the list, with Saudi Arabia being the most represented with 33 entries.
