Kabo Reports Wider Losses
El Nasr Clothing & Textiles Company (Kabo) reported increased net losses — from LE 1.25 million in 1Q FY2010/11 to LE 5.65 million in 1Q FY2011/2012.

Kabo is 49% owned by Amwal Al Arabia, the textiles arm of Arab Cotton Ginning Company and sister company, Egypt Ginning. 
 

Kabo has reatil outlets for its flagship brand, Jil, and also owns Wave, a local clothing retailer. The company also holds a stake in Alexandria Spinning and Weaving. 
 
The company lost an estaimated LE 4 million in exports due to labor strikes following the January revolution. bt
